Kate Stenzel-Whitworth is a singer, actor, and teaching artist of musical theatre, theatre, opera, and new music. Up next, Kate will be joining the national tour of A Christmas Carol as Belle and Mrs. Cratchit. Kate recently appeared as Mollie Ralston in Agatha Christie’s play The Mousetrap at the Broadway Palm Theatre in Ft Myers Florida. Other favorite credits include Sarah Brown in Guys and Dolls, Sally Talley in Talley’s Folly the Pulitzer Prize winning play by Lanford Wilson, Pamina in The Magic Flute, Laurey in Oklahoma! and Glinda in The Wizard of Oz. Kate teaches voice lessons through her private studio as well as Theatre Winter Haven, and she has previously taught on faculty at the University of Illinois at Springfield. Kate holds a Master of Music degree in voice performance from University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign, and bachelor’s degrees in voice performance and music education from Florida State University.
